NXpress Nintendo Podcast #193: ‘Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ Impressions
Animal Crossing New Horizons Review
It’s no surprise that this week on the NXpress Nintendo Podcast the guys devote the majority of their time talking about the long-awaited gaming vacation that is Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Rick, Tim, and Patrick share some details of what they’ve accomplished so far on their island getaways, dish on the local weirdos, stress over mortgage payments, wonder at the abundance of tarantulas, and muse on the new breakable tools. So how did we each settle in? Beachside property or the secluded wilderness? What are our plans for the future, and will there be hilltop castles involved? Despite its meandering nature, there’s always plenty to discuss when it comes to Animal Crossing!
In addition, our first segment deals with the recent Nintendo Direct Mini, and whether there was anything that caught our interest among the many expected titles, ports, and same-day drops. And in our last segment, we do a quick wrapup of the March Indie World. Though it may not have been the most dazzling, there were still one or two titles worth mentioning that hold potential. For all this and more, have a listen!
