Elden Ring Reaches 25 Million Sales
FromSoftware announced that Elden Ring has sold over 25 million copies. This milestone comes just ahead of the release of the game’s first major expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, set for June 21, 2025.
The announcement was shared on social media, with Bandai Namco expressing gratitude for the players’ support. The game’s popularity has been rising again, partly due to anticipation for the upcoming expansion and the renewed interest from high-profile streamers.
Elden Ring initially launched in March 2022 and quickly became a hit, reaching 20 million copies sold within its first year. The game’s success is a testament to its engaging open-world gameplay and the collaboration with George R.R. Martin, which added depth to its lore.
