Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Story Trailer Released
FromSoftware has released a new trailer for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. This expansion will focus on the game’s rich narrative, promising an engaging experience for fans.
The trailer was unveiled today and provides a deeper look into the story players can expect. Guided by Empyrean Miquella, players will journey to the Land of Shadow, a mysterious area hidden by the Erdtree. This place holds dark secrets and new characters with hidden agendas. The official Elden Ring website describes this land as the first place the goddess Marika set foot, hinting at deep lore and exciting discoveries.
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is set to release on June 21, 2024. It will be available for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. The expansion is priced at 39.99 USD for the standard edition. Players will need the base game to access this DLC.

FromSoftware’s Hidetaka Miyazaki mentioned that this will be the only expansion for Elden Ring. However, he did not dismiss the possibility of a sequel in the future. Miyazaki emphasized the importance of a single, comprehensive expansion to maintain the game’s exploration and adventure essence.
