Next Up in the Bizarre Pokémon Plush Series is A Massive Gigantamax Meowth
You’ve seen the weird Metapod Sleeping Bag; you’ve seen that Gengar Tongue Bed, now prepare for the freakishly long Gigantamax Meowth plushie. Just when you thought the Pokémon plushies couldn’t get any more interesting!
The newest addition to the weirdly wonderful Pokémon plushies actually comes from the official Pokémon Centre website and is based on the cat Pokémon Meowth in its Gigantamax form. The Gigantamax form was introduced in the latest games in the series, Pokémon Sword and Shield and –as the name suggests- Gigantamaxing Pokémon means that they grow to a gargantuan size. Because of this, this Meowth is a pretty huge plush. The Meowth measures a whopping 65 inches high, which is just under five and a half feet. So it’s pretty damn big. In fact, the Pokémon Centre websites describes it as “One of the largest plush available from Pokémon Centre.”
Gigantamax Meowth is unfortunately sold out at the moment but head on over to the Pokémon Centre website if you want to keep an eye on Meowth to see when it will be back in stock. It will cost you a pretty penny though, selling for $299.99. I kind of miss the model from the Metapod and the Gengar plush photos though. He still needs a raise.
