Pokemon GO Surprises Players with New Shadow Pokemon Update
Hello gaming enthusiastic as the title suggests. This year, the Pokemon Go team has decided to bring back its valuable player to the arena with the biggest surprise, and that is adding Shadow Galarian Weezing to Pokemon GO’s Legendary Heroes event, which lasts until October 1. That sounds fun, right? I bet it does!

Overview of the New Shadow Pokemon Update:
While a few may be missing, the majority can be found in the Pokedex. Most importantly, in addition to regular Pokemon, there are special regional versions of Alola, Galar, Hisui, and Paldea. That provides a compelling reason for players to deluge in the game.
Furthermore, this time around, players discovered that the brand-new event allows them to evolve their Shadow Koffing into Shadow Galarian Weezing for the first time. And that is what we call the best surprise ever.
This new Pokemon addition and update allows players to continue collecting candies to purchase their favorite Pokemon in-game.
The Reddit user _Crotha is one of the pro gamers of Pokemon GO and loves to share his experience of evolving a Shadow Koffing into a Shadow Galarian Weezing.
Even though there are immense numbers of features and Pokemon were announced for the Legendary Heroes event, the Shadow Galarian Pokemon was not being introduced to the players.
To evolve a regular Koffing into a weeping, players should have 50 Pokemon candies to evolve it into a galarian weeping.
Also, if players don’t obtain a Shadow Koffing before, they can get their hands on them during the Legendary Heroes event mentioned above.
Most importantly, these Shadow Koffings can be discovered in 1-Star Shadow Raids along with other Pokemon like Galarian Ponyta, Darumaka, Goomy, and Jangmo.
Legendary Heroes Event Unlocks Shadow Galarian Weezing in Pokemon GO:
Due to Koffing’s CP can differ eventually, players might try to evolve them to their strongest one if they plan to use Galarian Weezing to protect gyms.
Even though it seems like an addition of a new Shadow Pokemon to players’ collections, they also may choose to evolve their Shadow Koffing into Galarian Weezing for its type change.
Regular/normal Weezing is a poison-type that doesn’t have any other features, whereas Galarian Weezing is both poison- and fairy-type.
The fairy-type feature in return provides them with more intense attacks, refrains them from all their weaknesses to poison, and makes them stronger against the dragon-type attacks. So, evolving them can be a win-win situation for you.
Furthermore, evolving Koffing into Galarian Weezing is not all flowery; it comes with its drawbacks as well.
Like its weaknesses to Ground, Steel, and Psychic types, which can make fighting way tougher depending on your opponents.
Lastly, as mentioned, the announcement of releasing Shadow Galarian Weezing is not official and may be removed officially at a future date by Niantic.
So, if you want to evolve your Shadow Koffing into Galarian Weezing, this is your last chance to do so. Not to mention, there’s no surety whether or not you will get such kind of updates in the coming future.
So, don’t wait for it; grab your phone and evolve your Shadow Koffing into Galarian Weezing.
