Recently, the game has celebrated its New Year 2025 with a limited-time event, and for this month, there are many more events lined up for the players.
The upcoming exciting events include Mega Gallade Raid Day, Community Day, and one of the collaboration events with McDonald’s.
Pokemon GO Fashion Week Details:
Now coming to our main event, Pokemon GO Fashion Week 2025, the date for the event begins on Friday, January 10, at 10:00 a.m. local time and ends on Sunday, January 19, at 8:00 p.m. local time. So, don’t forget to mark the date on your calendar to grab yourself some exclusive bonuses.
Now talking about bonuses, it will include Double Stardust for catching Pokémon, and also, if players are at level 31+, they are twice as likely to receive Candy XL, which is a great deal for sure. Don’t forget to grind your level to get rewards.
Moreover, the event also comes with special Pokémon encounters. Firstly, there’s a good chance of getting your hands on shiny costumed Kirlia, along with costumed Diglett and Blitzle in the wild.
Secondly, costumed Butterfree, Dragonite, Minccino, and Cinccino can be discovered through Field Research tasks, and if you are extra lucky, you can get shiny versions of the mentioned Pokémon.
Last but not least, Skitty, Buneary, Furfrou, and Bruxish will also be seen very often in the wild, which you don’t usually come across in the game for sure.

Event Dates:
From January 10 at 10:00 a.m. to January 19 at 8:00 p.m. (local time).
Bonuses:
Earn double Stardust and Candy XL by catching Pokémon during the event.
Wild and Raid Pokémon:
In this raid, players have more chances to encounter these Pokémon in the wild and raids, such as costumed Pokémon: Butterfree, Dragonite, Minccino, Cinccino, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, and Shinx.
Other than that, you can also get regular Pokémon like Furfrou, Skitty, Buneary, and Bruxish.
Special Research Tasks:
Completing special research tasks will provide you with Field Research and Paid Timed Research tasks that will provide you with additional rewards and encounters with event Pokémon.
Paid Timed Research (costs $5) offers:
- 3,500 XP
- 3,500 Stardust
- An event-themed pose
- Extra encounters with Fashion Week Pokémon
Note: Don’t forget to claim your rewards before the event ends.
More Raids:
There will be more raids coming in, such as one-star and three-star raids featuring costumed Pokémon, including Shinx. And for this raid, don’t forget to use Remote Raid Passes to join raids from anywhere.
Shop Items:
New Plaid Top and Plaid Pants for your avatar will be available in the in-game shop. And the best part is that these items will remain even after the event ends.
Extra Activities:
Moreover, if you crave more fun event activities, you can participate in PokeStop Showcases with your newly caught Pokémon to win rewards.
Lastly, don’t forget to complete the Fashion Week Collection Challenge to earn more XP and a guaranteed encounter with a costumed Shinx.
