Pokémon 2024 World Championships Dates Announced
The Pokémon Company has locked in August 16-18 for the 2024 Pokémon World Championships at the Honolulu Convention Center in Hawaii. This big event draws thousands of fans and competitors from all over the globe to battle it out in the Pokémon Video Game Championships, Pokémon Trading Card Game, and Pokémon Unite. Each game will crown new champs during this major gathering. Last year, the tournament took place in Yokohama, Japan, following the 2022 event in London – the first outside the US.
At the close of the 2023 Championships, a video announced this year’s exciting location. And just after the 2024 Europe International Championships, they confirmed the dates and shared this year’s vibrant, tropical-themed artwork. It features Pikachu enjoying Hawaiian culture, snorkeling with other Pokémon like Steenee and Azumarill.
While ticket details for spectators are still pending, it’s wise for fans to get ready, as past events used RK9Labs for ticketing. Preparing early is a good move for anyone wanting to join the excitement in Honolulu this August.
