NXpress Nintendo Podcast #162: ‘Yoshi’s Crafted World’ and Our Wants for a Switch Pro
After the success of Woolly World, players have been looking forward to what visual treat Good-Feel would come with next, and it’s finally here! This week Tim, Patrick, and Izsak review Yoshi’s Crafted World, another playful romp in dino land. The franchise of late hasn’t exactly been known for its blisteringly difficult platforming, but is there enough there to hold our interest? Does the homemade arts & crafts aesthetic stay fresh? Is controlling a giant, cardboard Yoshi as fun as it sounds? Check it out for our full review.
After the review, the guys discuss the recent rumor of two new versions of the Switch that may make their way to stores by late summer. While this is all speculation at this point, what sort of modifications could we expect, and what would we want? First, however, Izsak concludes his month-long opus to play one indie game per week, concluding with what might be a nice little multiplayer gem called Not Not – A Brain Buster, where players are tasked with executing simple instructions with split-second timing. For all this and more on the NXpress Nintendo Podcast, have a listen!
