Nintendo Switch Sales Surge to 141.32 Million Units

Nintendo recently unveiled their financial results for the first quarter of 2024, which corresponds to the last quarter of their fiscal year. Despite a projected 19% drop in revenue for the next fiscal year, the company has confirmed exciting developments, including the introduction of the Switch’s successor within this fiscal year and a Nintendo Direct scheduled for June.

Over the past three months, 1.96 million Nintendo Switch units were sold, bringing the total to an impressive 141.32 million units as of March 31. Although this year’s sales were down 12.6% from the previous year’s 15.7 million units, Nintendo remains optimistic about the enduring appeal of the Switch in its eighth year on the market.
