Larian Studios Embarks on New Ventures with Two Original IPs After Baldur’s Gate 3
Larian Studios, the developer behind the successful Baldur’s Gate 3, is now shifting its focus from the Dungeons and Dragons universe to two brand new original IPs. Following their last venture, Larian announced they will not continue with Baldur’s Gate 3 DLC or a sequel. Instead, they are setting their sights on something entirely new, much to the excitement of their fans.
In recent updates, Larian shared that these upcoming projects are being crafted with the same innovative spirit that drove the creation of their previous games. Although they have not disclosed much about these projects, they promise that the endeavors will showcase their best work yet, highlighting their continued commitment to pushing the boundaries of narrative and gameplay design.

Swen Vicke, CEO of Larian, expressed his enthusiasm about the current developments, indicating that these new games could potentially be their most outstanding creations to date.
