Final Fantasy XVI Nears PC Launch with Promised Demo
Fans of the Final Fantasy series have reason to celebrate as “Final Fantasy XVI” is on the brink of making its way to PC. After its initial release as a PlayStation 5 exclusive in June last year, Square Enix has now confirmed that the much-acclaimed title will soon grace PC screens. Although an exact release date remains under wraps, producer Naoki Yoshida has shed light on the development progress.
In an interview with GameInformer, Yoshida revealed that the PC version is in the “final stages of optimization.” He mentioned that the team is diligently working to ensure fans receive the quality experience they deserve. However, he also hinted at high system requirements for the PC version, asking fans to stay tuned for more detailed announcements.
Yoshida also confirmed plans to release a demo for the PC version. This move aims to gather feedback on potential issues and improvements needed before the official launch. While details on the demo’s release date are sparse, Yoshida assures it won’t be a long wait, hinting at a release timeframe shorter than two years.
