NXpress Podcast 61: ‘Breath of the Wild,’ the Top 10 N64 Games and ‘Pokemon Go’

It was on June 23, 1996, that the Nintendo 64 made it’s hotly anticipated debut in Japan. It gave us classic titles that pushed the boundaries of what was expected of games and played a major role in introducing a new generation of kids to digital technology at the tail end of the 20th century. The Nintendo 64’s influence on modern games cannot be overstated. From first-party juggernauts to the advent of new technologies, Nintendo’s 64-bit machine has earned its place among the pantheon of gaming platforms. This week we invite Goomba Stomp’s editors Mike Worby and Matt de Azevedo to join us in deciding the ten best games released for that system. In addition, we take some time to further discuss The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Pokemon Go. All that and more!
** Show Notes: Our staff’s list of the top 40 N64 games can be found here. **
