Immortals of Aveum Introduces FSR 3 Support on Consoles
The highly anticipated update for Immortals of Aveum is here, bringing AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR 3) with Frame Generation to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This update makes Immortals of Aveum the first console game to support this advanced frame-generating technology.
Ascendant Studios announced that the latest version, 1.0.6.4, integrates AMD’s FSR 3, which combines frame generation with temporal upscaling. This technology uses motion vectors and optical flow data to create additional high-quality frames, enhancing the gaming experience with smoother framerates.

Besides FSR 3, the update includes HDR (High Dynamic Range) support for PC, improving visual quality with deeper shadows, brighter highlights, and more vibrant colors. The patch also enhances Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support across all platforms, ensuring better frame pacing and reducing screen tearing.

The introduction of FSR 3 on consoles sets a new standard and paves the way for more games to adopt this technology. Immortals of Aveum players can now enjoy a more immersive and fluid gameplay experience, thanks to these significant technical advancements.
