Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 to Launch on Xbox Game Pass Day One
In an unexpected turn, Xbox has accidentally revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one later this year. The news broke when users of the Xbox Game Pass app received a push notification on their Android and iOS devices.
According to Tom Warren, the notification announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is “coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one later this year.” However, clicking the link directed users to a non-existent Xbox Wire page, suggesting the notification was sent prematurely.
A similar confirmation came from Eurogamer, which highlighted that the notification linked to an unpublished blog post on Xbox.com. The premature notification suggests that an official announcement may be imminent.
This news isn’t entirely unexpected, as reports earlier this month suggested that Microsoft had decided to launch Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on Game Pass.

Microsoft plans to showcase Black Ops 6 in an hour-long presentation after the main Xbox Games Showcase event on June 9. This dedicated presentation will offer an in-depth look at the game’s new features and gameplay.
