Modern Warfare 3 Reportedly Joining Xbox Game Pass This Month
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is reportedly coming to Xbox Game Pass later this month. Developed by Sledgehammer Games, the 2023 release marks the first older Call of Duty game added to the service.
The game’s arrival follows a recent Xbox Game Pass price hike. Starting July 10, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will cost $19.99 per month, up from $16.99. PC Game Pass will increase to $11.99 per month, but it will continue to offer access to day-one releases.

According to Insider Gaming, Modern Warfare 3’s addition to Xbox Game Pass could be announced as soon as today. The release date is speculated to be in the latter half of the month. This follows Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard and aligns with the addition of other Activision titles like Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy.

Microsoft plans to use the addition of Modern Warfare 3 to build excitement for upcoming releases like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which will also be available on Xbox Game Pass. As always, these reports remain speculative until official announcements are made.
