NXpress Nintendo Podcast #53: Animal Crossing retrospective and ‘Link’s Awakening’
Animal Crossing celebrated a big milestone last week, and we’re certainly feeling plenty of nostalgia for the series. Fifteen years, six games and a whole lot of amiibo figures later, we’re taking a look back at the Animal Crossing series this week. In our main event, we continue our Legend of Zelda marathon and discuss Links Awakening, an adventure set on the mysterious Koholint Island, a place where dreams and reality collide. As a castaway, Link must find a way to escape from the island and return to his beloved homeland of Hyrule. The Legend Of Zelda: Link’s Awakening graced the monochromatic screens of Game Boys across the globe back in 1994, and two of three of us only played the game for the first time last week in preparation for the podcast. Joining us this week is Goomba Stomp’s Chris Souza. All this and more on the NXpress Nintendo Podcast!
