NXpress Nintendo Podcast 102: ‘Ever Oasis’ and ‘Star Fox 2’ Review Plus One Year of ‘Pokemon Go’
This week on the NXpress Nintendo Podcast, Tim, Patrick and special guest Taylor Smith discuss Ever Oasis, Pokemon Go and Star Fox 2. The best way to understand Star Fox 2 and its importance to the franchise is to play it, though, and since Taylor has, he’s here to tell us how the game took many different approaches to its core design that makes it stand out from the original. Meanwhile, Pokemon Go has now been out for a year and it seems it is sort of making somewhat of a comeback. Tim fills us in on the recent additions and whether or not Niantic has done enough to get him hooked once again. Finally, Tim fills us in on his thoughts of Ever Oasis, the latest collaboration between Nintendo and developer Grezzo (Ocarina of Time 3D, Majora’s Mask 3D) whose president is none other than Koichi Ishii, creator of the Mana series. All this and more.
