Disney’s Epic Mickey: Rebrushed Launches in September
Disney fans have something magical to look forward to this fall. “Epic Mickey: Rebrushed,” a remake of the beloved 2010 game, is set to release on September 24. THQ Nordic announced the launch date along with details about a collector’s edition.
The game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Developed by Purple Lamp in collaboration with Disney Games, this updated version promises enhanced graphics, reworked gameplay, and new brush abilities for Mickey. Pre-orders are now open, offering early access on September 23 and a costume pack featuring Steamboat Willie, Football, and Brave Little Tailor outfits.
Fans can also opt for the $199.99 collector’s edition, which includes several exclusive items. This edition features a 28 cm Mickey Mouse statue, an Oswald the Lucky Rabbit keychain, a vintage Mickey Mouse tin sign, six Epic Mickey: Rebrushed postcards, a collector’s steelbook, and the costume pack.

In “Epic Mickey: Rebrushed,” players will journey through the Wasteland, a realm of forgotten Disney characters. Armed with a magic paintbrush, Mickey can create or erase objects, affecting the game’s world and storyline. This dynamic gameplay element adds a layer of strategy and creativity to the adventure.
The original game, known for its unique painting mechanics and rich narrative, gained a strong following. The rebrushed version aims to enhance the experience with updated visuals and smoother gameplay. Get ready to join Mickey on this epic adventure when the game launches in September.
