Disney Unveils 8-Bit Pixel RPG for Mobile Devices
Disney Interactive and GungHo Online Entertainment have announced the release of Disney Pixel RPG, a new 8-bit adventure game for mobile devices. This game will feature iconic Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Genie from Aladdin, and Baymax from Big Hero 6.
The game will launch in Japan on September 9, 2024, for iOS and Android devices. Players in Japan can pre-register now, but there’s no word on pre-registration for other regions. It’s expected that the game will be released in other regions at a later date.

Disney Pixel RPG features a unique storyline where Disney game worlds have been invaded by strange programs, causing chaos. Players will join Disney characters on a quest to restore order across these merged worlds. The game offers strategic battles with simple controls, an auto-play function, and customization options for player avatars. Players can send Disney characters on expeditions to gather materials.
