Attention Squid Game Fans: December 17 Could Be a Big Day!

So, you are here to know the news, right? Well, of course, it’s for you, and the big day we are talking about is Squid Game launch. Yes, I’m talking about Squid Game-inspired games that will be available for iOS and Android. And can you guess what’s the coolest part about this?
Well, to play this game, you don’t actually need a Netflix subscription; you can play it absolutely free! Isn’t it amazing? I bet it is!
If you know about the policy of Netflix, you must already be aware of how Netflix works with its gaming zone. Like one of its most popular series of all time, Money Heist, has always been converted into a game, but it never appeared for non-subscribers.
But now, just to promote the Squid Game series’ Season 2, they are launching it beforehand, prior to the series release, for every fan around the world.

The news of the game launch was revealed at The Game Awards 2024, and alongside the announcement, they also shared a new trailer for the game, showcasing different modes in the game. The modes include one of the most memorable games shown in the series, the glass bridge, and more.
Along with the trailer, they announced that it will have multiplayer gameplay for everyone, but for a limited time. And the highlights of the game are that it won’t have any in-game ads or purchase systems as well.
So, no skipping or watching ads to play—just play with a flow. And yes, the most important thing is to not forget to pre-register now!
Squid Game: Unleashed Expands Netflix’s Ever-Growing Game Collection
Squid Game: Unleashed is a new addition to Netflix’s gaming portfolio. And in this game, 32 players will fight for one prize at the same time.
Other than this exciting game launch, Netflix already has some astonishing lineups, like Street Fighter, Civilization, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Tomb Raider.
Not limiting to that, already 80 games are under Netflix that are still in progress to be launched someday. Because it is still in the development stage, according to Netflix’s July earnings report.
The Squid Game: Unleashed will be launching on 17th December before the launch of Season 2 of Squid Game, which will come out on 26th December. It purely creates hype amongst the fans to watch the show firsthand.
Moreover, even earlier this month, Call of Duty announced a special Squid Game partnership. It will officially be adding a few Squid Game contents to Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
Furthermore, there is another collaboration with Xbox showcasing limited-edition Squid Game controllers, available starting December 20.
So, this month is full of Squid Game vibes. Are you ready to dive into the trend? I bet you are!
