NXpress Nintendo Podcast 94: NES/SNES Classic Mini and Our Final ‘Breath of the Wild’ Review
If you thought Nintendo would keep its wildly popular NES Classic alive you might have been extremely let down when the Big N announced the discontinuation of the NES Classic late last week. The all-in-one console that came equipped with 30 classic NES games, including Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda proved to be a hot holiday gift at $60 and quickly became hard to find. The devices — if you can find one — are now going for more than $300 through resellers on sites like eBay and Amazon and twice as much on Ebay. This week we discuss the rather upsetting news and here to join us is special guest Al White from the Geeks podcast. In our main event, we wrap up our ongoing Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild discussion with our final (we promise) review of the beloved Nintendo Switch game. All this and more.
