Ubisoft Confirms No Delay for Star Wars Outlaws
Recent rumors suggested that Ubisoft might delay their upcoming game, Star Wars Outlaws. Concerns arose after mixed reactions to early previews, particularly an IGN gameplay video that received more dislikes than likes due to issues like poor visual effects and low frame rates.
During a recent investors call, Ubisoft addressed these concerns. CFO Frederick Duguet confirmed that Star Wars Outlaws has gone gold and will release on August 30th as planned. Duguet emphasized their commitment to showcasing more high-quality content, highlighting the game’s open-world exploration and multiple planets.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot also expressed confidence in the game’s quality, mentioning their advanced engine and the immersive experience they aim to deliver. Despite the mixed early reactions, Ubisoft remains steadfast in their release schedule, focusing on meeting their high standards and player expectations.
