Forza Horizon 4 to Be Removed from Xbox and PC Digital Stores
Playground Games will remove Forza Horizon 4 from digital storefronts on PC and Xbox by December 15, 2024, due to licensing agreements with partners. This action will affect Xbox Game Pass as well.
From August 22, no new Festival Playlists will be added, though players can still access the history. Despite this, daily and weekly challenges will remain, earning players Forzathon Points for rewards.

Playground Games confirmed that players who own the game can continue playing offline, online, and multiplayer modes. Physical copies bought after December 15 will retain online functionality.

To soften the impact, Forza Horizon 4 will be sold at a reduced price before delisting. Xbox Game Pass subscribers who purchased DLC will receive a token to redeem the game permanently. These tokens will be distributed via the Xbox Message Center.
Forza Horizon 4’s DLC is no longer sold separately and is only available through the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions. Playground Games expressed gratitude to fans for their support and encouraged them to enjoy the remaining time with the Festival Playlist.
