Hypercharge: Unboxed Hits 100k Sales on Xbox
Developer Digital Cybercherries has announced that Hypercharge: Unboxed has sold over 100,000 copies on Xbox consoles. The high-octane shooter, which was released on May 31 for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, has garnered a significant player base in just under a month.
Hypercharge: Unboxed is a first-and third-person shooter that immerses players in a world of sentient childhood toys. The primary objective is to defend the Hypercore from waves of rogue toys determined to destroy it. The game has received positive feedback for its nostalgic gameplay, reminiscent of classics like Halo and Goldeneye, making it a hit among Xbox players.

Joe Henson, Creative Gameplay & Marketing Director at the Digital Cybercherries, expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming response. He mentioned that the success has been transformative for their small team of six, allowing them to invest in marketing and game enhancements. Henson also highlighted the invaluable support from Xbox in promoting the game.
