Below viewers can check out the game’s official announcement trailer:
A listing for The Last of Us Part I appeared this morning as available for pre-order on the PlayStation Direct website store page for $69.99 alongside a special “Firefly Edition” of the game for $99.99.
As Wario 64 has mentioned, The Last of Us Part I is a remake built from the ground up for the PlayStation 5 and will contain both the base game of The Last of Us as well as The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC content. Below a description of the game was posted on the PlayStation Direct website further detailing what the remake has to offer:
“Enjoy a total overhaul of the original experience, faithfully reproduced but incorporating modernized gameplay, improved controls and expanded accessibility options. Plus, feel immersed with improved effects and enhanced exploration and combat.”

The Last of Us Part I is set to release on September 2nd, 2022 for PS5. A PC release is also in development. Aside from its confirmation, PlayStation has provided no details as to when the PC version of the game will arrive.
Just last year, Naughty Dog released a port of Uncharted 4: A Theif’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy on PlayStation 5 titled Uncharted: The Legacy of Thieves Collection. The recent Uncharted collection added several visual and accessibility enhancements to the last-generation experience but was not made from the ground up for the system.
