Resident Evil 9 Release Reportedly Delayed
Resident Evil 9 will not be announced this summer, according to recent leaks. Capcom’s highly anticipated next installment in the Resident Evil series is now rumored to be released in late 2025 or 2026. This news comes from Dusk Golem, a well-known leaker with a history of accurate predictions about the franchise.
Initially, there were reports suggesting that Resident Evil 9 would be revealed this summer with a release planned for early 2025. However, these plans have changed, and fans will need to wait longer. The game’s development has faced internal delays, pushing its release further than expected.
In addition to Resident Evil 9, Capcom is reportedly working on remakes of Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil Code: Veronica. These remakes are being developed by the same teams that worked on the successful Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4 remakes. This news has excited fans, as these titles have long been requested for modern updates.
