NXpress Nintendo Podcast 134: ‘Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze’ plus E3 Rumours
Developer Retro Studios has garnered a reputation for taking bold steps with some beloved Nintendo series. This week, we discuss one of those games, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze.
The NXpress crew is back after taking some much needed time off and this week we got a special review of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, one of the greatest 3D platformers ever made. The fifth Donkey Kong Country sidescroller (the second made by Nintendo’s Austin, Texas-based Retro) is now out on the Nintendo Switch and it’s so good, we all decided to buy the game for the second time. But how does it hold up when compared to the original Wii U version? We’ll be sure to let you know, but first, we discuss our disappointment in the underwhelming news surrounding the Nintendo online system as well as some recent E3 rumors circulating the web. All this and more.
