Lies of P Hits 7 Million Players Worldwide
Lies of P, the action-packed game that has caught the attention of gamers worldwide, has now crossed a massive milestone of 7 million players. This achievement comes just six months after its release, showcasing the game’s immense popularity and the gaming community’s enthusiastic reception.
Developed by Neowiz Games and Round8 Studio, Lies of P has made a significant impact in the gaming world, especially among fans of Soulslike action-RPGs. The game’s success is notable on various platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It’s worth mentioning that being available on Xbox Game Pass from day one likely played a crucial role in boosting its player numbers.
The game has not only attracted a vast number of players but has also received critical acclaim for its engaging gameplay and unique take on the classic tale of Pinocchio, reimagined with a dark and gothic twist. Despite stiff competition, Lies of P was nominated for Best RPG and Best Art Direction at The Game Awards, a testament to its quality and the hard work of its developers.
Following this success, Neowiz has announced plans for further enriching the game’s world, including paid DLC and a sequel. Interestingly, the sequel is set to be developed using Unreal Engine 5, promising even more breathtaking visuals and immersive gameplay.
