Check Out this Game Boy Reimagining of Better Call Saul
Digital artists are able to create things that appear to be very real and this mock up of Better Call Saul for Game Boy is one such example.
One of the coolest things about the onset of the digital age and the prevalence of the internet is that we get to see all the cool things that people can create with technology. Case in point, YouTuber Lumpy Touch has crafted an awesome new video that reimagines the Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul as a game for the original Game Boy, of all things.

As the AMC legal drama comes to an end, Better Call Saul is absolutely at the forefront of everyone’s mind, and that’s why it’s the perfect time to choose your character and hit the mean streets of Albuquerque, New Mexico in search of some adventure. The game begins with a chip-tune version of the show’s opening title theme before prompting the player to Press Start and choose between either Jimmy, Kim, or Mike, each with their own stats and special skills.
Next, we get an opening rendering of Jimmy’s campaign, which features hilariously bad audio and a really funny facial expression from Chuck McGill. Then, with the preemptive elements out of the way, we get to the actual Better Call Saul game. It looks like a classic platformer in the form of Super Mario Land but takes place in the Season 5 episode: “Bagman.” Fans will recall that the episode sees Jimmy stranded in the desert and battling the elements. Unfortunately, here those elements include giant scorpions.

In any case, the video only gets funnier as it goes along, leading into a shooting mini-game that makes Mike sound like a stoned version of Sylvester Stallone. We won’t spoil the rest, but if you’re even remotely a fan of the franchise, you absolutely have to give this a watch.
