We’re currently deep into Resident Evil Village, but we decided we simply couldn’t bring you that podcast without first revisiting the Baker family in Ethan Winters’ maiden voyage down in the bayou.
With Resident Evil 7, Capcom completely revitalized a series that was seriously lost and bogged down by just how ludicrous it had gotten, and it did so by producing one of the most atmospheric and chilling horror games of all time.
We chat about the terror, frustration, hilarity, disappointment and confusion we experienced playing the game, and where we think horror games and the Resi franchise are at the moment, as we take you on a rollercoaster ride through the game’s main campaign before discussing the two endings and some initial thoughts on Resident Evil Village.
