Studio Ghibli’s Next Anime Finally Revealed, Here’s Your First Look ✨
After the huge success of Hayao Miyazaki’s latest film, Studio Ghibli is finally ready to come back strong this time.
According to the latest updates, Miyazaki had already been working on a new movie, and his beautiful narrative will continue with another upcoming release.
Recently, it was unveiled that the studio is planning to make a brand-new anime short inspired from their underrated gem. This short anime will be directed by Goro Miyazaki, and of course it will be worth checking out!
The news was exclusively shared on Studio Ghibli’s official website in Japan. The brand new short movie is titled as, A Night in the Witch’s Valley, is set to release in early July.
The anime is already completed but sadly it will only be released in Japan. It will be exclusively available for the fans visiting Ghibli Park who will be able to watch it, which means fans around the world won’t be able to stream it.
Also, there’s no such announcement that Studio Ghibli will be releasing it globally, which is why the only way to enjoy the show is to visit Japan, especially the Ghibli theme park.
Ghibli Makes History with A Night in the Witch’s Valley: A Magical Return to Earwig and the Witch

A Night in the Witch’s Valley is one of the special anime for Ghibli studio because it’s the first time that any short film will be premiered in the Ghibli Park.
Directed by Goro Miyazaki and Akihiko Yamashita, is already creating a lot of hype amongst the fans and it’s definitely going to be a memorable film for every Ghibli movie fan. It will also be considered to be a sequel to Earwig and the Witch.
The original movie for the franchise came out in 2020 but didn’t get much attention from the fans as expected, but Goro Miyazaki wants to return to its magical world and explore it further. To showcase the beauty of his work.
On top of that, to celebrate this auspicious release, the director will personally visit Ghibli Park and meet fans.
The short film will also have a world premiere on July 8, with both directors attending. The event will use a lottery system for tickets and will also show how the film was made from scratch and efforts put behind in making of the film.
So, if you’re someone who stays close by or is looking forward to visiting Ghibli park, don’t forget to participate in a lottery game for an exclusive ticket for the film.

As we all know this is not the first time Studio Ghibli made short films, there are many more films that need much more attention from the fans.
It all started in 2000, the studio began its journey making debut special anime shorts for TV and the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Tokyo.
The first short film that came into being was Ghiblies premiered in 2000 and they even got a sequel in 2002. So far, seven official TV shorts have been released by Studio Ghibli and ten shorts were prepared for the museum.
Now furthermore, A Night in the Witch’s Valley is set to be premiered and made place in this collection as well.
As expected Ghibli’s theme park is beloved by fans in Japan, so it’s not surprising they are releasing exclusive anime there. So, if you wish to watch this exclusive anime, you’ll need to visit the theme park as well.
