NXpress Nintendo Podcast #40: ‘Banjo-Kazooie’ and our hopes for the NX

The N64 is home to a treasure trove of 3D platformers, and among the best of them is Rare’s own take on the once-popular genre, Banjo-Kazooie. Our monthly spotlight on Rare continues with a look at this gem about a country bumpkin bear and his bird friend, along with a discussion of the waning of the 3D platformer genre in general. Before that, however, Tim, Patrick, and returning guest Matt De Avezedo talk about the recent Twilight Princess HD news involving the Wolf Link amiibo and the possibility of a brand new unlockable dungeon. Afterwords, various hopes and dreams are expressed as to what Nintendo’s mysterious and highly speculated-upon NX should be. All this and more!
