The Internet Can’t Get Enough of Marvel Rivals’ New Free Skin
Hello guys! We are back with another interesting post, and you already know the topic — it’s the most popular newly released game, Marvel Rivals.
And as you have read that title, you know we are going to dissect every inch of the new skin’s speciality in this article. Ready for the ride? I bet you are!
First of all, the newly launched free winter skin that has taken the internet by storm is none other than Jeff the Land Shark, inspired by the comics.
It’s an adorably cute shark skin that will definitely melt your heart, and I guess that is the main reason it got 10 million downloads within just 72 hours of its launch.
Not only Jeff but supervillains like Doctor Doom are creating a sensation amongst players. And now they are hinting at launching another popular supervillain, Knull.

If you have no idea about Knull, you can just watch the recent release of the Venom movie. I bet you will enjoy it.
Moreover, Marvel Rivals recently announced the Winter Celebration event, featuring five new skins and a fresh game mode.
The brand-new mode seems to be inspired by Nintendo’s Splatoon, where players compete to cover the map in their team’s color. And if you are unaware of the theme, you can just watch the event trailer.
The trailer shows four Jeff the Land Sharks battling it out, spraying colorful frost across the whole map. Doesn’t it sound fun? Yes, it does!
On Reddit, one of the fans of Marvel characters, a user named lehme32, shared his excitement regarding the winter skin launch, showing a comic panel featuring Gwenpool and Jeff building snowmen together.
In the trailer, Jeff is wearing a snow jacket, and it was so adorable that players were not expecting it to be completely free of cost.
Players Are Loving Jeff the Land Shark’s Free Winter Skin:
As you can see, the Jeff winter edition skin is already getting a massive response, but it’s not the only skin that has been released for this season.
Other skins like the winter-themed Venom skin, Santa-themed Groot, Holiday Rocket Raccoon, and winter-dressed Magik are also the main highlights of the season. But sadly, Jeff Winter skin stole the show this time.
Moreover, getting a free Iron Man skin during the launch was also appreciated by the players and gained a lot of attention among them.
Speculations about the Game’s Future:
Below are a few of the predictions hinting at what we will get to see in the future of Marvel Rivals:
Firstly, there’s a leak hinting at new characters like Ultron and Johnny Storm coming into the picture very soon. But there’s no official announcement of these additions yet.
Secondly, Season 1 is approaching, and we hope to see some new, exciting heroes and maps added to the game.
