3 Years Later, A Wildly Popular Isekai Is Finally Returning
As the title suggests, one of the most beloved isekai manga is making its comeback, and it’s none other than No Game No Life. After more than three years without any updates, it’s finally back.
The popular isekai series will release Volume 13, its first new volume since February 2023, and hopefully it will be a wonderful ride.
The announcement has first come from the account on X @ngnl_anime, confirming that the new volume will be released on April 24, 2026. It showcased the new cover art and hinted at big story developments.
Sora and Shiro are expected to face the mysterious Demon King, making this one of the most intense parts of the story so far.
No Game No Life Finally Returns With a High-Stakes New Arc:
The manga will continue right after volume 12 ended, which came out in February 2023. The volume 13 will portray the journey of Sora, shira and their friends taking out the devil. It is titled as Gamer Siblings and Friends Will Take Out the Devil!.

The group keeps on adventuring towards the Demonia, preparing for a big battle that had been building for a long time, if we include our wait as well for the volume.
As said in this new volume, Sora, Shiro, and their friends go deeper into the dangerous Demon King’s Tower. This place is said to be one of the toughest challenges faced by our heroes in the series, so we can expect even more intense strategy and mind games in this volume.
Luckily, we also got a mysterious teaser for it “This kid is… no way…?”, which hints at a surprising revelation about the Demon King. Not only that, the brand new cover art adds up to the mysterious vibe, showing an unfamiliar character with horns, wings, sharp teeth, and spiral eyes.
The design definitely looks vibrant but also a bit odd, matching the unique style the series is popular for.
Why No Game No Life Remains Relevant After All These Years:
No Game No Life officially came out in 2012 created by Yuu Kamiya and it quickly gained tremendous attention and became one of the most popular isekai series we know now.
The things that created its unique fanbase was its smart game battles, clever strategies, and colorful world.

The series has already gotten a response but it got way more famous after its 12-episode anime adaptation by Madhouse in 2014. The anime was such a banger and if you missed it by chance and definitely go watch it.
Even though it got so much love, we never got to see the second season. But we did get the prequel movie No Game No Life: Zero that expanded the story and made fans love the series even more.
Even though delays in releases and long gaps, the light novels have stayed popular amongst the fans. Every new volume gets a lot of attention, showing how much fans still care. The three-year wait between Volume 12 and 13 made people even more excited.

So, we can estimate that this volume might be a life changing experience for the fans. Because it’s going to one of the most iconic arcs coming up next.
Even though we know Volume 13 is coming out in April still the full details are not out yet. But still we are hoping that after this story will keep on moving and we will get to see more exciting adventures of beloved characters.
