The Wait Ends: Genshin Impact Reveals a Powerful New Look at Its Anime
“The wait is long, but if the story is legendary, it’s always worth it.” ✨
After a blockbuster hit of Demon Slayer, ufotable has finally decided to put the focus on another most anticipated anime, Genshin Impact.
They have made sure that it is going to be coming into existence very soon, and fans don’t have to wait any longer for an anime adaptation of their favourite game.

Even the announcement for the release of the anime was made way back in 2022, the game developers are always there to reassure fans that they will definitely get what they wish for, and now finally, after 4 years of wait, we got updates straight from ufotable about making the Genshin Impact anime.
Genshin Impact Anime Gets Gorgeous New Teaser from Ufotable Starring the Traveler Twins:
Ufotable unveiled a promotional video on its official YouTube channel, portraying several of the studio’s upcoming projects, that consist of Witch on the Holy Night, Touken Ranbu, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2, and the highly anticipated and much awaited Genshin Impact.

The promotional reel of the Genshin Impact anime beautifully showcases a new teaser whose main attractions will be Aether and Lumine. The new teaser offers a very short intro, portraying the two siblings reaching out to each other against a black background.
Despite that, it gives fans a glimpse at the updated character designs, which can be distinguished from the September 2022 concept trailer.Moving further with the release of the Genshin Impact anime, there is still no official update on dates yet. Ufotable has listed it under “Future Projects” instead of 2026 Projects.

Sadly, it might take more time to get an official release date announcement from Ufotable. We might need to wait for 2027 or more for the official release of the anime.
Genshin Impact’s Anime Could Adapt the Game’s Final Chapter:
It is sad that we won’t be getting a Genshin Impact anime this year, but it might be a smart move. Because if the anime gets delayed, it means it might cover the final story of the game as well.

It seems like developers are going to be setting up the final pieces of the plot. If the main story is nearly complete by the end of 2026, it would give Ufotable a much clearer and more complete storyline to adapt for the anime.
Also, for fans, it will get much more interesting to watch the anime as a complete one rather than an incomplete one.

Right now, the story has multiple arcs to it that can be incorporated in the anime, for example, there are Archon Quests, World Quests, and even hidden lore found in items and books. So, as you can assume, if the story comes to an end in the game, it will make it easier for ufotable to adapt into a whole series.
Wrapping Up:
So, as we sum up, after the huge success of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Ufotable is working on the next big hit series, and it might get more hype because of the already established fanbase.

It might even get bigger fame as compared to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and wait for the banger to be released in the future.
Don’t forget to bookmark our site because we are going to update you with the official release date of the Genshin Impact anime as soon as it’s announced.
