Shonen Jump Reveals Its Next-Generation Action Anime Hits for 2026
“A new generation of heroes is about to rise, and Shonen Jump is once again leading the charge into the future of shounen anime”
Hello anime enthusiasts, you must be eager to know which shows are going to continue the legacy of great shounen anime, and we are here to tell you everything about it.
Shonen Jump has officially revealed its next anime project, estimated to be released in 2026, and it feels like the beginning of a new shounen era.
The legendary manga magazine, home to some super hit series such as Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, and Jujutsu Kaisen, is going to produce two fresh titles to carry the torch forward, Marriagetoxin and Kill Blue.
Curious to know more? Then keep on reading because it’s going to be fun!
Marriagetoxin Anime Where Romance Meets Deadly Action:
Marriagetoxin originally started publishing on Shonen Jump+ in 2022, and gained immense popularity amongst fans of dark romance that blends naturally with family drama, and assassin-style action.

The story revolves around Hikaru Gero, the heir to a family of poison assassins, who soon faces a moral dilemma when his sister is forced into an unwanted fate.
So, to defend her, he has to balance his duty, marriage, and combat against deadly rivals.
The plot is full of action and will be animated by Studio Bones, the powerhouse behind some of the renowned titles like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, My Hero Academia, and Mob Psycho 100.
Moreover, the anime will be directed by Motonobu Hori along with music by Taisei Iwasaki. Haruki Ishiya voices Hikaru, with Shion Wakayama as Mei.
This anime will be a wonderful addition for everyone waiting for a good action series with an epic adventure.
Kill Blue Anime Where A Hitman Turned Middle-Schooler:
The next anime that must blow your mind with the title is anime from well appraised creator of Kuroko’s Basketball, Tadatoshi Fujimaki.

But this one comes with a twist that no one expects. Definitely this is not your traditional shounen anime.
The story revolves around Juzo Ogami, a 40-year-old hitman, who is unexpectedly transformed into a 12-year-old, okay I know this sounds odd but trust the process.
After a tragic genetic mishappening involving a wasp. He was forced to attend middle school, and now he must juggle daily student life with the instincts of a seasoned assassin.
And that’s what a modern twist with classic shounen anime vibes looks like. Sounds exciting, right? I bet it does.
This series will be produced by Studio CUE and directed by Hiro Kaburagi, along with character designs by Miho Daidōji.
Wrapping Up:
So, as we come to the end, we would like to know which anime caught your interest and if there’s any additions you want us to have on our 2026 must watch list. Do let us know in the comments.
