Grand Blue Fans, Get Ready! Season 3 Has Been Confirmed
“Grand Blue Season 3 is officially happening, get ready for new adventures in Palau!”
Your favourite comedy anime is coming back, and it’s true. Grand Blue Season 2 has just ended, and we got an official announcement that we are getting Season 3, which is nothing short of a miracle.
It took 7 years for Season 2 to come, so maybe it might have created confusion in your mind, but it’s true, it’s coming back with a banger.
Grand Blue Season 3: Lori and Friends Travel to Palau:
For the first time in the anime, Iori Kitahara and his friends will be leaving Japan and heading to Palau, a tropical island nation famous for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life.

Moreover, Palau is renowned as one of the world’s best diving destinations, with over 400 species of coral and mesmerizing underwater scenery.
If you are up to date with the current ending of season 2 of the series, the last episode has hinted at their travel to Palau, and we don’t need any more confirmation that the next season will be a really great change of pace in the show.
Grand Blue Season 3 Storyline and Manga Adaptation:
Season 3 will adapt the Palau arc as mentioned and it directly adapted from the manga, taking the gang’s diving adventures to a whole new level. That fans will definitely enjoy to their heart’s content with breathtaking visuals of the places and oceans.

Even though nothing officially has been shared with us yet, manga readers know the full fledged experience of how good the Palau arc is and it is going to be a good show overall.
Moreover, there’s a major shift in anime, where character growth and new side Lori can be shown in the series that will add an extra layer to our favourite series and storyline.
Grand Blue Season 3 Release Date: What We Know So Far:
Unfortunately, there is no official release date mentioned for Grand Blue Season 3. Some anime news sources suggest that the new season may air in 2026, but until the production team gives confirmation, fans could expect that it can be released somewhat near 2026.

Well, even though we haven’t received confirmation still we have an announcement that the production of season 3 officially began and soon we are going to get a teaser, key visuals, trailer and staff confirmation revealed on the anime’s official website and X (Twitter) page in the coming months.
Returning Cast and Staff Speculation:
Although the official cast and staff lineup for Season 3 hasn’t been revealed, we can expect the main voice actors, including Yūma Uchida for Iori Kitahara) and Ryohei Kimura for Kōhei Imamura will definitely return.
The previous seasons were animated by Zero-G, with contributions from Studio Liber in Season 2, but it still hasn’t been announced whether the same production team will handle Season 3.
