Game Pass Anonymous
Game Pass Anonymous 3. Halo Infinite
During this week’s meeting of Game Pass Anonymous, we discuss the flaws of last year’s biggest Microsoft first-party exclusive, Halo Infinite. What went right, what went wrong, and how does Infinite fit into the rest of the Halo canon? While in pursuit of the open world and striking out on their own 343 may have gone a bit too far in transforming this Halo game into something that they can claim as their own. While clearly trying to distance themselves from Halo 5 343 managed to both undercut their overall arc while also posthumously validating and improving upon the fifth mainline game. We may sound hypercritical but it all comes from a place of love for both Halo and the Xbox platform as a whole.
Game Pass Anonymous is Goomba Stomp’s premier Xbox podcast in which we discuss gaming news, services, history, and new releases through the lens of an Xbox die hard. If you find yourself struggling with Xbox addiction make sure to join in the discussion and find yourself amongst friends.
