FromSoftware Announces Disappointing News for Elden Ring Fans
There’s has been number of rumours and news circulating in gaming industry and one of bad news roaming around is regarding the most popular game, Elden Ring released in 2022 and sadly fans were really excited to get range of expansion for the game but unfortunately, Elden Rings fans has to satisfy themselves with only one DLC that going to release soon.
Everyone is shocked by the news coming from FromSoftware itself because it said it was a huge success and FromSoftware additional projects like Dark Souls also launched Artorias of the Abyss, Dark Souls 2 had The Lost Crowns in its bag, and Bloodborne had The Old Hunters. Dark Souls 3 had not one but two expansions of the game, Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City.
And likewise Fans were highly anticipating two or three expansions for the Elden Rings but sadly only one DLC for the game has been approved. In the latest interview of Miyazaki with Campfire Camp he disclosed and confirmed the news that the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC is the only expansion that fans can expect to see in near future.
Even though FromSoftware is known for launching only one DLC per game, still fans were expecting more than one expansion for the game Elden Rings because it’s criminally popular amongst its fans around the world. It would be valid to have more of it because why not it will eventually get fame and popularity like the original game.
Shadow of the Erdtree Confirmed as the Final Elden Ring DLC:
This announcement from FromSoftware is not something that couldn’t be assumed or predicted because after the launch of Elden Rings in 2022, it took 2 years for FromSoftware to bring DLC for the game. The DLC for Elden Rings will be released on June 21,2024. After a long wait fans must be really excited for this to come back.
Other than that it’s safer to assume that the reason behind launching only one DLC for the most hyped game can be continuous add on new projects on FromSoftware.
Even though it’s not official from the studio, it can be assumed that the next new project or projects that are ongoing may include a full fledged sequel of the game Elden Rings. It does sound exciting but it’s just assumptions and the studio can announce some big games as well. But it’s not confirmed as for now.
Wrapping Up:
So, what’s your thoughts on this? Do you think Elden Rings deserves to have more than one DLC or Sequel? Or is it fine if Elden Rings gets wrapped up with one DLC this year?
Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section! We will be happy to hear your point of view.
