Assassination Classroom: Our Time Movie Reveals Trailer & Key Visual — What Fans Need to Know!
After a long break, one of the most beloved anime series, Assassination Classroom, is making its comeback!
Yes, it’s totally real news and not just a rumor. But this time, we will get the opportunity to watch our favourite show on the big screen.
This time, we are not getting an episodic season but a movie premiere titled Assassination Classroom: Our Time (Gekijōban Ansatsu Kyōshitsu: Minna no Jikan).
One of the most exciting parts of this news is that we have already received the official trailer for the movie. Released on December 16, 2025, the official trailer and key visual were revealed ahead of its March 20, 2026 premiere in Japan, which is definitely super exciting because we can now get a glimpse of what we’ll experience in the upcoming movie well ahead of time.
The Return For Class 3-E Students and Their Iconic Koro Sensei:
The newly launched trailer of the movie portrays a heartwarming look at the familiar faces fans grew up watching over the years.
With wonderful animation and a memorable narrative, the trailer preview emphasizes themes of time, memory, and the lasting impact of Koro-sensei’s lessons, while the plot sheds light on the lives of the beloved characters.
This movie is not simply a recap of the story we have watched before, but an adaptation of manga content that was never previously brought to life.
Not only are the animation and story new, but the film also adds emotional weight through its theme song, “Teacher,” performed by Sora Tomonari.
The song plays throughout the preview and reinforces the emotional journey of the students and their magnificent teacher, more than a teacher, a mentor.

The official key visual does the perfect job of depicting Koro-sensei alongside Class 3-E in stunning visuals that feels both emotionally intriguing and celebratory.

The detailed artwork and hints that showcases the closure for the series suggests that we are definitely getting some mind blowing plot for our favourite series comeback.
Original Cast and Staff Return:
Fans will be pleased to know that the original voice cast is returning for the film.
This includes:
- Jun Fukuyama as Koro-sensei
- Mai Fuchigami as Nagisa Shiota
- Nobuhiko Okamoto as Karma Akabane
- Aya Suzaki as Kaede Kayano
The movie is produced by Studio Lerche, along with Masaki Kitamura directed by Makoto Uezu handling the script.
The Character designs are once again done by Aya Higami, known for original design for the series maintaining the consistency.
Part of the 10th Anniversary Celebration:
Our Time is one of the major projects celebrating the franchise’s 10th anniversary, making it a memorable treat to fans, whoever follows the series for years.
By releasing the part of the series that never came to existence the movie will be a true tribute to the legacy of the series along with offering something fresh.
Assassination Classroom: Our Time Movie Official Release Date:
The movie is estimated to premiere in Japan on March 20, 2026. However, details regarding international releases and streaming availability have not yet been announced.
