id Software is Developing Multiple New Games
id Software, renowned for the Doom series, is developing multiple new titles. Their latest project, Doom: The Dark Ages, was unveiled at the Xbox Showcase last month. This game takes a medieval spin on the Doom franchise, offering a fresh and visceral first-person shooter experience.
According to a LinkedIn profile of Megumi McGowan, who recently joined Bethesda Softworks as a Publishing Producer, id Software is not limited to just one game. She mentioned that the studio has several exciting projects in the works, indicating a busy period ahead for the developer.

Past rumors and reports suggest that a new Quake game could be one of these projects. While MachineGames might be leading the development on Quake, id Software’s involvement hints at a strong collaboration due to their shared use of the id Tech engine.

Details about these upcoming titles are still under wraps, but fans can expect more information and possibly teasers in the near future.
