Studio MAPPA Ventures into Live-Action Production with Jujutsu Kaisen Adaptation

Studio MAPPA is collaborating with a diverse range of partners in the film industry, and now we can finally see some of the best live-action anime adaptations.
As we all know, studio MAPPA is one, behind producing some of the greatest anime of the era, like Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, Chainsaw Man and End Number shows, and now it’s finally time that we will see some astonishing work of MAPPA in the film industry.
According to the source, Comic Natalie, it seems studio MAPPA is helping, K2 Pictures in producing the movies with the help of some elite Japanese filmmakers Hirokazu Kore-eda, Shunji Iwai, Kazuya Shiraishi, Miwa Nishikawa, and Takashi Miike.

MAPPA CEO: Studio Must Diversify Beyond Animation:
One of the renowned filmmakers, Muneyuki Kii, started K2 Pictures in August 2023 to create a new ecosystem for the diverse world of Japanese films.
The goal of this establishment is to create a position for creative filmmakers in the industry, increase profit and attract some well-known investors just like Studio MAPPA.
Similar to this, Manabu Otsuka, CEO of MAPPA, hopes to expand his portfolio beyond animation and has made significant impact in the areas of copyrights and event management.
Both the companies, together, wish to create a fruitful environment for every animator and creator to grow in the industry and get better pay through their creativity.
