Zenless Zone Zero Announced as PS5 Console Exclusive
HoYoverse’s latest action RPG, Zenless Zone Zero, is officially a PlayStation 5 console exclusive. The game, which launched last week for mobile, PC, and PS5 players, has already surpassed 50 million downloads, showcasing its immense popularity. However, it will not be available on other consoles for at least six months.
The exclusivity was confirmed through a release trailer on the official PlayStation YouTube channel. The trailer highlights the game’s vibrant urban setting and dynamic cast of characters, concluding with the announcement of its PS5 exclusivity. This means that Nintendo and Xbox players will not have access to the game until at least January.
This decision follows a pattern seen with HoYoverse’s previous titles, such as Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, which are also only available on mobile, PC, and PlayStation platforms. Despite the six-month window mentioned, it remains uncertain if Zenless Zone Zero will ever be released on other consoles, given the history of HoYoverse’s platform choices.

Zenless Zone Zero is also accessible on iOS and Android, allowing a broader audience to experience the game despite its console limitations.
