Watch the Hilarious, Albeit Creepy Parody of ‘It’ from ‘The Late Late Show’

I recently wrote about how the movie that Andrés Muschietti’s It resembles most is Wes Craven’s 1984 masterpiece, A Nightmare on Elm Street. Pennywise, after all, is no different than Freddy Krueger: both are among the most recognizable modern horror villains and both a supernatural force that feeds on deep childhood fears. And like Freddy, Pennywise is also the literal, deadly manifestation of the evil that man is capable of committing. Well, as it turns out, Muschietti actually considered a scene in which Pennywise would transform into Freddy at one point but thankfully he changed his mind before shooting began.

However, Anyone who ever wanted to see a crossover between the two iconic villains may be interested in the following video from the Late Late Show. In the sketch titled “The I.T. Department,” a frustrated office worker calls for I.T. help when his server is down. Instead of a tech savvy colleague to come fix his computer, he is visited by you guessed it, Pennywise the clown, played by James Corden. Watch the video embedded below. Enjoy!
