The Mid-Season Replacements Episode 19 – “Thinking About Jazz”

Jazz, sex, and empty nostalgia are on the table as the hosts dig into The Eddy and the second half of Normal People.

On a particularly spicy edition of The Mid-Season Replacements, Randy and Sean open the show with some Official Hot Takes on virtual cast reunions and the city of Paris, France, respectively. Once those are out of the way, it’s onto Netflix’s The Eddy miniseries, in all its maddening, underwhelming glory – and to finish out the episode, a lengthy discussion about the final six episodes of Normal People, and what Randy is already declaring one of the great romantic endings in television history.

Shows discussed: Normal People, The Eddy

The Mid-Season Replacements Podcast is a weekly show hosted by Goomba Stomp and TV Never Sleeps’ Randy Dankievitch and Sean Colletti, with new episodes debuting every Tuesday evening.

Opening Track: “Curtains” by Ryan Elliott (of Ancient Fears)
