Rose City Games has an update about their highly anticipated new game Garden Story along with a new trailer, some screenshots, and a few surprises.
Rose City Games has been busy trying to finish the game and due to extra funding, they’ve had the opportunity to make Garden Story bigger, better, and more delightful! Thanks to Kowloon Nights, they’ve been adding more fruity friends who’ll provide additional favors and requests to hone your skills and foster the Groves community; a wider variety of Rot types of bosses to combat; additional natural resources to collect and further unlock the history of The Grove… and a few more surprises to make Garden Story the best it can be!
Because they are working hard to expand Garden Story, they will also need more time than originally planned. The game will no longer be launching in Spring 2020 – instead, it is now set for release in 2021.
For the unfamiliar, Kowloon Nights is a video game fund that focuses on backing independent developers! They’ve helped fund other cozy and wholesome titles you may be familiar with, and you can check them out here.
Check out the new trailer for Garden Story below.
Unify a broken community as the newly-appointed Guardian of The Grove. Traverse a vibrant island to combat invasive Rot, inspire its inhabitants, and rebuild your home. You won’t have to do this alone: fruity friends await, ready to lend a hand!
