Hi, what are you looking for?

Photo Mode: Cyberpunk 2077 Style

You know you’re living in the digital age when selfies are as much as a thing in video games as they are in real life. Photo Mode has become the norm within video games and CD Projeckt Red dropped a trailer today for their own Photo Mode in the highly anticipated game (it’s only 8 days away people) Cyberpunk 2077.

The Photo Mode coming to Cyberpunk 2077 is pretty detailed, as shown in the trailer. There are categories for the camera itself as well as the depth of field, poses, effects and stickers and more in depth choices within each of these categories. Depth of field allows you to modify the aperture of your photograph whilst effects are pretty much the same as what you can do with your photographs in social media, filters and gradients and such. You can probably tell that I don’t take many pictures.  There are some awesome examples of in-game photographs in the trailer, as well as a funny Easter egg that references the painfully difficult Dark Souls game with a “Praise the Sun” pose. If the trailer is anything to go by, there looks like a fair amount of customisation available in the Photo Mode for Cyberpunk 2077 which could be a lot of fun.

Honestly, I’m probably going to just keep taking selfies with Keanu Reeves’s character.

Cyberpunk 2077 is due for release on December 10th for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Google Stadia, Xbox One, the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S.
