The original score for ‘Fallout 4’ gets a stunning limited-edition vinyl set

Published: Last Updated on

There are many reasons why the Fallout series is so popular: the story, the visuals, the character creation, the sense of exploration. But the element that holds everything together is the music, and I’m not just referring to the fantastic soundtrack which includes Billy Holiday, Skeeter Davis and Billy Ward (to name just a few), but also the 208-minute original score composed by Inon Zur . Roaming the post-apocalyptic world can be depressing, but the music not only makes it bearable but quite enjoyable. Whilst not at the forefront of your attention, the music is always there and plays an important role in creating mood, atmosphere and ratcheting up the tension. It is one of the greatest scores composed for a game and now Fallout 4’s original score is being pressed onto vinyl records for a limited-edition package that fans can now pre-order from the Bethesda Store.

The 65-track score runs for more than three and a half hours and comes in a box set of six blue vinyl LPs in three full-color gatefold jackets. Only 3,000 sets are being produced, according to the product page in the Bethesda Store. Check below for more details.
