So you’ve just had the brilliant idea for cool magnetic iron boots… Now what do you do with them? Part 3 of Nintendo’s ongoing developer retrospective on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess sheds light on what the concept was behind the more massive dungeons in the game, as well as how they created the various ways the different items Link acquires in each would be used. Series producer Eiji Aonuma explains how items like the Spinner were incorporated after conception, requiring dungeon designers to figure out nifty ways of making Link’s new tools relevant from a gameplay perspective. As with Part 1 and Part 2 of this video series, this fascinating look at one of the largest and best Zelda games ever from the people behind it is a real treat. Check it out for yourself below!
