Iron Man, Godzilla, King Kong and More Come to Life in Los Santos with JulioNIB’s Grand Theft Auto V Mods

One of the most prolific modders for Grand Theft Auto V (and Red Dead Redemption 2) goes by the name JulioNIB and I’m surprised that I haven’t actually written on him before. His mods are amazing so I wanted to bring a little bit of attention to his work. Let’s take a look at some of his scripting skills!

JulioNIB’s most popular video on his YouTube channel was from 2015 and is an amazing Armageddon mod for GTA V which has meteors falling from the sky as thunderstorms rumble and lightning illuminates the sky. The video shows Franklin riding a motorcycle through the chaos, complete with the horrified screams of people on the street as they flee in terror. There is also a moment in this where Franklin performs a stunt jump just as a meteor is flying past and the slow motion effect literally makes it look like something pulled from an action movie. Franklin then takes to the skies in a plane where you can get an aerial view of the apocalyptic meteor fire storm and it is truly epic. That is until a meteor hits the plane and its game over. No, it’s actually still pretty epic. It is not a surprise that this is the mod is JulioNIB’s most viewed- with more than 14 million views- as it is intense and awesomely creative. The some of JulioNIB’s other most watched include a few Marvel mods- including an Iron Man Endgame mod , a Hulk mod and a shark mod which lets you chomp down on people.

His latest work includes a script mod for both Godzilla and King Kong (with one for Mecha-Godzilla on the way) which are both absolutely amazing too. It’s the little details that make JulioNIB’s work one of the best out there. For example, his Godzilla mod lets Godzilla use his atomic breath power but the animation for this shows that glowing, bright blue light going up his tail whilst that iconic charging up sound plays. Another example is his King Kong mod which allows the player to pick up things such as trains and wield them like weapons, complete with an animation to go along with it. I for one can’t wait to see where JulioNIB goes with his mods in the future but for now, he has given us plenty of fantastic content which you can also download for yourself.

Make sure you check out JulioNIB on YouTube and Twitter and also head over to his Patreon for the download links to his mods as well as to support him with his scripting (which he certainly deserves so go and show him some love!).
